A perfect day for it

Flat calm and big tides, so the perfect time for Mike to float the mooring and bring it ashore to check it over before it's in use again.  We went over and put the lifting straps on Peridot in readiness for her being lifted back into the water too.  It's the time of the year when the mind of the male of the species turns to boats!

Luckily Mike's is turning to my garden shed too!

The great big barge is staying here in the bay until it is needed for the St Margaret's Hope pier.  Could be a while yet . . .
