Peaceful Sunday

Our friend Kathy came over and we had a lovely chat. Then Steve suggested a slow boat ride upriver. It was sunny and quite beautiful.

In 10 days steve will be going in for a hip replacement. Because of the discomfort from his osteoarthritis, I would say he is looking forward to it. Tomorrow we have a pre-op class at the hospital. They seem quite organized, which is reasurring. Our friends have told us hips are a lot easier than knees, glad to hear!
