York Road Station

Oddly, I don't really enjoy using the Underground in London but I love pretty much everything else about it, to the extent that I buy its merch: I even have a Northern Line t-shirt!

I'm particularly fascinated by the disused stations, like the one at the British Museum, for example. I'd love to do one of those tours of the 'hidden' Underground. Until then, though, I take some satisfaction on seeing the above ground manifestations, such as this, the old York Road station, which has been closed for almost a hundred years.
