Pennan, au revoir

And so a temporary farewell to Pennan. What a perfect weekend we had, not least because the weather was so unexpectedly good. We've decided to come back for a week in the autumn, when I expect we'll have a different experience, meteorologically at least.

We set off nice and early so that we could stop off in Dunkeld on the way and visit the cathedral (or, rather, the ruins thereof). It was a beautiful drive and Dunkeld itself was a little joy. We had a drink in the pub where I swapped the Nokia for the iPhone and caught up with some email. Then we had a stroll around the cathedral before having a bite to eat and setting off for home.

I was very happy to be reunited with Dan and Abi, this evening, and we popped into Kirkby Lonsdale for a celebratory curry :-)
