Busy night at The Star

Up and to independent bookshop Toppings, in the Paragon in Bath.

Listened to a fascinating talk by Simon Garfield on the topic of his book on Maps and bumped into an ex-colleague who told me of his hunt for Genghis Khan.

Stopped for a pint of Bass in The Star on the way home, where the open fire and the atmosphere were most conducive to composing some Haiku.
