One Naughty Tulip

A visit to the Keukenhof Gardens today, the home of the Dutch bulbs growers and deep in the heart of the Dutch bulb fields, it was spectacular. Full of the most amazing array of tulips and other bulbs, all planted in the most stunning swathes of colours...all until you get that one naughty tulip that decides to do it’s own thing.

When we got back to Leiden and well into the evening the town was buzzing with the celebrations for King’s Day, loads of pop-up music stages, general partying with every one dressed in orange carrying Dutch flags and all in typical Dutch fashion with very good humour.
