A Huge View

I didn't get any good scenic shoots from the top of Mt. Wrightson two days ago when I toured the observatory because the sky was horribly hazy.

So I was moved  to drive up the mountain road and check things out.  Way up to the right is the red lodge that astronomers who come from faraway places, like Japan, Australia or Chile (where the companion telescopes are located) may stay.

Tough to get there but what a view of the Santa Rita Mountains located smack dab in the Coronado National Forest!!
