Roseate Spoonbill's & More - Smith Oak Rookery

I spent the morning with the BOBB 2018 crew and had a great time looking for various critters.  In the afternoon, I went on my own to Smith Oak Rookery on the Bolivar Peninsula and had an awesome time watching the Roseate Spoonbill's build their nests and fight amongst each other.  Then met the BOBB crew for drinks, had dinner, and then parted ways.  

See today's extra photos showing a pair of Roseate Spoonbill's fighting, a Blackburnian Warbler, and a raccoon that I met in front of a convenience store.  According to the store owner, the raccoons have made the store home for over 35 years and are very friendly with the patrons (especially those bearing food).
