Semi-naked gardening

We all woke up tired this morning, but the boys have shifted the bug (just me feeling unwell).  The eldest was in a horrible mood and I took us out for a play - and coffee and cake for me.  It  must have been bad to warrant cake, I can't remember the last time I bought cake. Felt ill after eating it, there's a lesson there.

The youngest fell asleep on the way there, the eldest almost did.  The both fell asleep on the way back.  The youngest spent the next 3 hours asleep and the eldest got 2 hours in. I should have followed suit, but instead got lots of things done. 

I eventually roused them - and fed them lunch at 3pm.... then we had a lovely, lovely afternoon in the garden.  I discovered that planting vegetables with children is almost impossible.  It'll be a miracle if anything grows.  The lunch time nap did both of them the world of good and they woke up absolutely delightful.  Both ate huge dinners, so I think they are well and truly better.
