Happy Birthday To Me

It has become a tradition in our household for Mr. Badger and I to take my birthday off from work and go on some adventure. We were really hoping to go to the beach, but the weather was pretty miserable. Instead of working, my day consisted of:
- sleeping in a bit
- going out for breakfast
- visited a pet store I've wanted to see since we moved (which was great!)
- talked to/visited a fencing company to get the ball rolling on fencing our property
- scheduled some estimates for getting our driveway paved
- got supplies for my ducklings (as they could show up in 2 or 4 weeks, want to be prepared!)
- visited a bakery and each got a slice of cake to celebrate with (shhh, and a raspberry brownie!)
- played Full Throttle remastered together
- got Thai food from my favorite restaurant (yum!)
- snuggled up and watched some shows together

I also received some fantastic noise cancelling headphones and Mr. Badger is going to shop for a cute little pocket knife with me (he wanted me to pick it out!). So, it was no day at the beach, but it was super fun/productive :D (pictured is my white chocolate mousse cake that I picked out, it was scrummy! We don't normally eat flour/sugar, but made an exception for my birthday.)
