Kereru visiting...
I was working in the kitchen when I heard the whoosh of the kereru wings. Looking up I saw not one but two kereru land in our olive tree. Watching them closely they were nibbling on the leaves/flowers/olives. These birds never cease to amaze me how they can fly. They are a wood pigeon, native to NZ. They fly with a swoop from one point to the next point.
