Gladstone's Library , Hawarden, Wales

We travelled to Wales for a friend's 25th wedding celebration which was a memorable event.
We also met up with K and J there and had a really nice few hours with them in the more relaxed setting of Gladstones's Library. It is a really lovely retreat space with a generous welcoming ethos - a special coincidence for me that we were nearby as I have wanted to visit for some years.
There were lots of different external workshops and training events - so it's just the place to go to learn Welsh ( or Latin) in a week , do some creative writing or just to relax and read.
Some extras of us too.
I would like to return and participate in some of the activities .
