So the sun did as predicted. It shone. All day (pretty much)
After an hour or so of replying to e mails, I got the bike out and off to Stockbridge; and the nslowly worked my way up to the West End. The story of the woman who's ex husband ended up as the gay lover of her father (all under the same roof) was one of several interesting tales I heard during the day. And a meeting with one of the arrears section's most wanted. Never dull.
Leith in the afternoon; I managed to give a couple of answers to the 92 year old for her crossword and a final long trek back to Drylaw and a long final call.......
With the sun shining, I sped home; grabbed the chablis and portable bbq, some chicken skewers and lamb bits and off to stake a claim to a patch of grass at the Meadows. She duly arrived after the bbq had been lit and we had an enjoyable and peaceful couple of hours together.
Then off down the hill and home to stick a washing on before an early night ahead of an early start.
