So, not the Cairngorms, then.
I cycled into town mid morning and extricated Her from the flat; and onto the bikes (via the canal towpath) we didst go to Wester Hailes. I snapped some snaps which will appear on Billboard. As the sun broke through the haar, it developed nicely into a summer's day. We exited W Hailes and via W Coates and W Pilton, we headed to W Granton; grabbed a few things and then via Asda and Shona at the graffiti wall, we headed back to hers.
Having worked up a thirst, it seemed only right and proper to embrace the Bank Holiday by buying cold beer and imbibing in the sunshine at the Meadows. 3 hours of quietly baking saw us head home, deal with the latest disaster that is G and a nice smoked salmon pasta with a chilled glass of soave. 45km; and a touch of colour to the legs and face.
Extra is also the Meadows
