2018 Thursday — Just Looking

I walked out of the classroom this morning at about 10:45. Class begins at 8:15 and ends at 10:20. One student stayed after class to talk. She told me she thinks she’s failing the class. I told her she’s right.

Then we discussed that she’s never arrives on time. She doesn’t submit her email assignments. She failed the first quiz and missed submitting one entire writing project. She then told me this is the third time taking this English course.

If a student fails a class three times, there is no option to take it again.

I told her that she should have told me that on the first day of class. I also told her she ought to behave like a student who is on her last chance.

If she will do quality work from now on, she should be able to finish with a satisfactory grade.

Then I walked out of the classroom to see this view — just spectacular.
