Bubble Bath

We went to Washbrooks Farm at Hurstpierpoint this morning and met up with Gabi and her little girl Isabella who's just one week older than Violet.  Gabi is married to Alan's colleague Carlos and they're Brazilian, so although Isabella understands some English, she's doesn't really speak it much yet, but this didn't stop the girls from having fun. It was an absolute scorcher and it was already 26 degrees by 11am!

The farm has lots of indoor and outdoor play areas together with an animal barn, tractor rides and a cafe.  It's a great place and only a 30 minute drive from home, so somewhere we'll go again when they visit, and the added bonus is that I get discount because I'm a grandparent - it's great, although I did feel like a senior citizen lol!

We stayed until about 2.30pm and then headed home as the two little ones were tired, Rach thought Violet might have a nap in the car on the way home, but she didn't.   When we got home we rinsed off and put our swimming costumes on ready for the hot tub and this time Rachel came in and Violet really enjoyed it.  I took this photo while she was waiting for mummy - just look at those legs!  I've added a selfie of all of us to my extras.

Tonight, Rach put the girls to bed together again, but it turns out that last night Violet kept Scarlett awake by tickling her, which is funny, but Scarlett's been tired today.  So Rach said that she'd leave Violet with Scarlett, but would transfer her to the travel cot in her room when she went to bed. 

Another great day, but I'm shattered!
