Ice cream

We left home at 6am to travel down to Amesbury, to join George for his second birthday celebrations on Sunday.
Worked well, no major hold ups and arrived at 11.30. Sophie had Lardy Cake to welcome us!
It was a scorcher of a day! Around 26C in the afternoon and we walked down to the town to the park and river, then essential ice creams.
We rested in the garden after that, George paddled in a bowl of water and Pippa was too hot. Poor George is cutting some back teeth so rather grumpy at night but hopefully he will feel better tomorrow as Daddy is back from his (working) trip to the Normandy beaches.
