Les huitres

It was a later arrival than planned yesterday. All went well until I arrived in Lille. D was delayed on the autoroute which meant I could dive into Primark in EuroLille for an emergency purchase. Then we had a bit of a problem finding one another before a very slow drive back to Arras. The SNCF strike had increased the Friday night traffic. And then a late dinner.

Today it was the usual visit to the market before we headed off to stay with N et R in St Quentin en Tourmont near the Somme estuary. It wasn't cold but the sun was hiding in the mist.

We had a lovely promenade in Le Crotoy where my desire for oysters was fulfilled

Then home for apero, une coupe and another very late dinner.
