Saying goodbye

B goes away tomorrow for a month so we went round for a bit of music and a goodbye cuppa. Katie was also keen to see how the house is looking (they’re having some serious work done).... she was a bit perturbed by the current arrangements though! The majority of the kitchen is in the dining room, the lounge has been stripped, the kitchen has been ripped out, the new room has a floor... it’s chaos! She did some work on her audition pieces and managed to keep her cool when we realised there’d been some errors in her learning of one of her pieces. We managed to put a lot of it right or right enough that I continue to help her figure it out!
