Photographic Poeticisms

Innocence

Innocence
Left bleeding
By experience
By reality
By life
By living
Holding on
By the slimmest of threads
To its past
Regretting
That first step
That opened its eyes
To pleasures
Seemingly innocent pleasures
That lured
That ensnared
That corrupted
That drew in
Without care or consideration
For the delicacy
That they held
But rather
Wrapped themselves
Tighter
Luxuriating
In their own corruption
Their ablity
To twist
To dismember puritey
To break it
Until
Bleeding
It cries
For its loss
Head hung
Innocence
Awaits
The final blow
