Will it open ?

I bought a Camellia in Lidl and as I’ve seen the buds appear, I’ve hoped for at least one bloom.

It’s still gloomy (but less fog than yesterday) and it’s pouring. This poor bud is cherishing the raindrops, but not showing her full beauty.

I’m setting off on an adventure in a few minutes. It’s only for a week. Will I miss the glorious flowering - or hope for a kinder Spring for her next year ?
