sweetcorn is such an orderly vegetable, and I like the way the lines in this one echo the lines on the table. It's waiting to be roasted with some sweet potato, according to a recipe in the Waitrose magazine (called a salad, but served hot - when did this happen?)
We've had a domestic day today, I've been painting* and M has gardened. Felt a bit sorry we hadn't responded to daughter's invitation to accompany her to a steam event but it was two and a half hour's drive away, so refusal was probably sensible.
Tried to do my self assessment tax form and have lost my P60. BAD person.
