Burn Beach Clean

A breezy day, but it's been dry, sunny all day and not a cloud in the sky.  

Another day working on the museum desk.  With the lovely sunny day, it's been fairly quiet in the museum.  The evening was taken up by beach cleaning, followed with walkies with Sammy.  Feet up now with the telly, and painting up more garden ornaments. 

Tomorrow starts a big weekend of events in Scalloway, but some places were looking awful after the winter gales blew plastic waste over the beaches.  With short notice, I organised a beach clean, and about 20 turned up to lend a helping hand.  A load of  empty bags soon filled, and then the trailer behind soon filled to the brim, with plenty more needing done.  Thanks to everyone who turned out, and I'll organise it in more time next year.  Taken at Burn Beach, Scalloway.
