Reaching Skywards

I met up with my Wednesday friends today (even though it's Thursday!) and another friend that we don't get to see so often. The plan was to do a 5 mile walk over Cranbourne Chase, where there are beautiful views to be had and the possibility of seeing boxing hares. It was very misty and murky, so we couldn't see the views, which also contributed to us getting lost (so it was a 7 mile walk) and we only saw one hare scampering off as soon as he became aware of us..... Needless to say, we still had a great time! And I got quite a lot of unusual photos I'm pleased with! I particularly liked this misty shot, which would have been my main blip but is black & white, so had to be in my b&w journal. And we watched kites - not a bird I get to see at home, although I know they are prolific in some parts of the UK. All in all, a great day!

Tired and hungry, we eventually got our lunch at about 2.30 :)
