Dedication!

The things a blipper will do for the cause.  This is Clickychick in Stenkrith Park Kirkby Stephen.  What you can't see is she is crouching in a 75 cm (2 foot 6 inch) wide and similar depth hole in the rock.  The hole is one of those worn in the Breccia by stones swirling in the water.  Fortunately it was dry.

We needed to go to Kirkby Stephen to get some things for the business.  s it is our 41st wedding anniversary we deiced to make a day of it.  The business concluded we had a very pleasant stroll round the town followed by a very nice (and large lunch).

Then we headed to somewhere I had only just discovered on the internet Stenkrith Park.  This is a parcel of woodland running along the sides of the River Eden.  The land seems to be council owned and the paths are well maintained

Unusually I have posted 2 blips only about 5 hours apart but I wanted to get today's up on our anniversary.
