Celebrations.

As I said the other day we are in Edinburgh meeting the family to celebrate our Ruby Anniversary.

The day started with the Sheffield tribe running up the stairs to Katkatkat's flat.  Before we could set off for the real activities of the day Kat's Royal Python had to be brought out for the kids to have handle.

Next we made our way to the play area in Harrison park then on to the Gorgie City Farm.  After a bus ride into the Grassmarket we indulged in some classic tourist sight seeing.

I found the policy of not allowing children in the city pubs unless they were eating very unfriendly.  To me a kid is a kid whether they are eating or not.  Eating doesn't suddenly change their personality or size and shape!

We rounded off the day by going out to Arcane Spark's apartment in Newhaven, where we had drinks after our celebration meal at the Loch Fyne Restaurant not far away.

A memorable anniversary in what is turning out to be a memorable weekend.
