So the story is concerning the trellis on the back of the fence. As the "good side" of the fence is looking out to the drive and the rest of the street, I thought it would be a good idea to have some trellis put up at the same time as the new fence. Then I'd be able to train my sweet peas up it and have a lovely lovely wall of flowers each year.
However this side of the fence only gets a short time of sunshine first thing in the day, which is not ideal. Plus, sweet peas like deep roots, so whatever container I buy to grow them in would need to be long and narrow and deep.
One of those ideas that is good in practise but not really workable.
Any suggestions for climbers that would be suitable would be appreciated :)
