More of the same...

For the second day running the rain has continued to pour and it's set to continue through the night.  Yes, I know that the garden needs it, but not quite as much as this!  I've photographed my neighbour's magnolias, drenched in rain, as for some reason their tree flowers slightly ahead of ours, which frankly is looking a bit miserable and bare.
 
In other news it is five years ago that my father in law died aged 90.  He is still often thought of and greatly missed.
