beautiful day...

It's been a very beautiful day and warm too. It wasn't quite what the forecast had been but I am definitely not complaining! I went out early and decided to go and watch the water voles again. It's a lovely place with great views and lots of lovely spring bird life - calling curlew, lapwing, meadow pipits, red grouse etc etc

The voles didn't come out for a couple of hours but no matter, I had a walk and waited. I was rewarded with many, many sightings  which is good news re the voles. It's not easy to get a photo of them out in the open as the extras show )
