Changi
The only time not spent on an aeroplane today was spent in Changi airport.
Like Heathrow yesterday, Changi was busy, but not excessively crowded. We were somewhat taken by surpirse by the need to pass through security again, just before reaching our departure gate. And to find that my little needlework thread clippers, which had passed with no problems through the security at Heathrow, caused problems at Changi. On the other hand, having set off the alarms again, the personal search for hidden weapons was perfunctory, to say the least!
The Singapore Airlines plane on the left was our rather smaller onward flight to Christchurch.
