Pre-Birthday Celebrations

Birthday celebrations today, in anticipation of tomorrow when I'll be 21 again (for the 11th time) ;)

An early start, dropped Ben of at friends, and headed off to East Sussex to go clay pigeon shooting! Steve arranged this in secret, and let me in on the secret earlier this week. I have been SO looking forward to it :D We took Vicki (one of my not-so-old NCT friends) and had such a giggle, and even got a big handful of hits each. Not bad for our first time shooting ever :) Have GOT to do it again!

This evening we have been out for dinner at Hayley's. A big friendly affair with us, them and their kids, and Libby and her family too. Real happy times :) Topped off a quality dinner of chicken fajita wraps by lighting candles, a sparkler fountain, AND sparklers on top of the cake I'd made.

The kids decided Ben was staying for a sleepover so we made them work for it, asking nicely and all that, so we might actually get a good nights' sleep tonight, if Charley plays nice! AND because the clocks go back tonight we might actually be on time to church in the morning.

My shoulder is starting to hurt a little now - more because Steve prodded me "to see if it hurt" earlier on! Not as much as Vicki though, who has just sent me a picture of her already massive bruise :-/
