Saturday Afternoon

Two years in to retirement and I still feel I need to 'earn' my down time - how daft is that?  Anyway this morning several of us Hobblers smashed parkrun so I decided I would finish my jigsaw before doing any more jobs. 

We must have something of a Colin Thompson Appreciation Society here on blip when it comes to jigsaws.  Friend Tricia loaned me this wonderful one of a lighthouse packed with the usual Thompson detail.  It was too big for the coffee table so it's been on the kitchen table for a few days.

On a damp day, few things beat completing a jigsaw with a good cup of coffee and a slice of Tony's newly made choccy cake.
