An Exhibition and a Snowfall
Dear Diary,
I attended the annual exhibition, Art Celebrates Place, at the Fryeburg Academy gallery despite the snow that was falling quite heavily. I was meeting my cousins Joe and Rhonda and afterwards going to dinner. We hadn't seen each other for awhile and a little snow wasn't going to stop me. The exhibition included six watercolors from my friend Marnie, the woman who hosts our bi-weekly "play dates" in her studio. I really enjoyed the work and it was very well attended despite the weather.
This morning everything is coated in a blanket of white, the storm never transitioned to rain as they said it might. It is really lovely out there (extra) but I do hope it melts rapidly today. I was going to call Matt to come and start the yard clean-up but that will have to wait for a few days. Ah, springtime in Maine!
