The Longest Day

Girls pulling a fire engine? This was the final and biggest challenge these girls have faced after an eight week programme which has seen them arriving at school at 5.45am three days a week, be challenged and to develop in so many ways.  Today's activities included individual and team challenges at the National Fire Training Centre and in the Forest.  The logs were carried as they jogged the 5kms back to town.  The programme was run by police volunteers in their 'spare time.'  I take my hat off to them. 
Off home for a sleep? No! They have a (short) presentation dinner in a couple of hours! -
