No laughing matter - Magpie/human battles

(Although I am sorry to say I did. Laugh. Quite loudly.)

Apparently Magpie attacks on road cyclist are quite frequent at this time of year when Magpies are mating. They dive bomb from the back and hit the cyclist quite hard on the back of the helmet. Dave says it gives you a hell of a fright and makes you serve into the traffic. So he has done what many cyclists do and created and anti-magpie attack mechanism.

Don't laugh when you see them out and about - OK? (A quiet smile is acceptable.)

LATER EDIT text from the frontline advises design is flawed. Has been bombed by several magpies. Bristles need to poke further backwards. Text promises design revision upon return to base. over and out.
