Waiting patiently

We went to do our recycling today outside the supermarket and waiting patiently next to the recycling bins in the shade were these two. I have wanted to catch a photo of one of these donkey and carts for a long time, but would still like to photograph one moving down the street, but this was still a lovely sight. Soon after I started photographing a boy of about 14 came across with two very tiny puppies (too young to be leaving their mother), I think he was trying to sell them to anyone who would take them, the donkey and cart seemed to belong to him. The poor donkey didn't look in the greatest of shape, but he was so cute. My daughter-in-law adores donkeys and I think she would have been sad to see him. We then went and had lunch and when we came out the boy and dog and donkey were still there but the puppies had gone (hope they went to a kind home!)
