peat shed
A gardening job this morning, until the rain got serious.
Tonight the AGM of our local community garden. What a cheery, pleasant gathering! The business was done and dusted in no time and then out came cups of tea and cakes. That's the sort of AGM I like :)
The blip shows the greyness of the day and a sadly deteriorating boat roofed shed. The boat, sawn in half, was the lifeboat from the SS Giralda. Transporting coal from Ayr to Kirkwall in January 1940 the Giralda was sunk off the coast of Grimness. The lifeboat capsized and all 23 crew were lost.
