Kokopelli
I love these guys and apparently my neighbor does, too. In fact, I have a new Kokopelli decorating my patio. I'll blip it soon.
Kokopelli (koh-koh-pell-ee) is one of the most intriguing and widespread images surviving from ancient Anasazi Indian mythology, and is a prominent figure in Hopi legends. The figure represents a mischievous trickster or the Minstrel, spirit of music. Kokopelli is considered a symbol of fertility who brought well-being to the people, assuring success in hunting, planting and growing crops, and human conception.
Had a minor Mom emergency today. I was able to get her out of bed by mid-afternoon. She called me in a panic later asking me to bring her food right away. She brought up getting additional help. I'll be investigating. A Memory Care facility is cost prohibitive for our family.
