What a difference a day makes

It was 11C in the car today. Yesterday it was -1C. This morning all of the slushy snow from yesterday had turned to ice and we were both slipping and sliding all over the place on our morning walk. Very, very treacherous!



By this afternoon the sun had come out and as Ann had to take her old hoover to the tip, she said I could have my walk in the woods near 'Craigmillar Castle'. Yay! I've only ever walked there once before so today we found lots of new paths that I haven't ever been on. Yay!



And do you know what else I found today?......................... Bunnies. Zillions of bunnies. Yay! As soon as I got let off my lead I went zooming off after them. I think this is the first lot of Edinburgh bunnies that I've chased. Normally I chase squirrels in Edinburgh. The trouble is; now that I'm getting older I can't catch the bunnies or the squirrels because they are much speedier than me. Boohoo. Actually, even when I was just a youngster, I never managed to catch a bunny or a squirrel!


Chasing bunnies has exhausted me so I'm going to spend the evening snoozing. Ann's off out eating and drinking AGAIN! We're going back to our 'other home' (in St Ives) soon so apparently Ann has a lot of 'farewell' socialising to do.
