Snowing Inside

It was pouring this morning when PD and I went out - adding to yesterdays 'puddles'.
This is why the council haven't sold off the playing fields ......... nobody could afford to do anything about the lack of drainage.
Personally, I think they wasted their  our money planting all the new trees.

Shortly before our lunchtime walk the rain turned to snow. Considering how wet it was it was scary how quickly it started to lie.

We took the monsters to The Centre during the afternoon for a Lego event where they could build  and take away a small model....... Squirrel did a unicorn and The Cygnet a rabbit.
There was also a 1/10th scale model of The Flying Scotsman. The cutaway carriages were really good. ....... The Buffet CarThe Galley and The Bar were all full of interest and humour , but it was the sleeper carriage that took the biscuit - there was the guy sitting on the loo, the guy getting ready to go out and the woman in her underwear (with the door ajar ...... waiting on the guy getting ready to go out?).

When I got home I turned the car into the courtyard and came to a grinding halt. A few inches of snow on top of slush on top of monoblock on a slope is not conducive with driving.
I had to dig the car in!
Hopefully it will be gone in the morning......................
LOL - no chance I fear.
