Working Together

Whilst standing waiting for PD to stop sniffing about and catching up on the gossip I took a shot of some trees - and then switched the camera to 'shutter speed' and took a motion shot which may go in a panel of shots for an upcoming competition.
The lens I was using today was a 45-200 mm and most of the shots I took were at the long end. That includes the new Hawthorn leaves, the feather and the blossom bunches. It was just after I took the shot of the blossom that I saw a seagull sitting on a lamp post turning its head from side to side, so I took two shots, both with it looking into 'empty space' .... one from the left and one from the right. I preferred this one. Maybe because of the way it breaks the 'rule of thirds'. My other bird shot was pretty rubbish.
Any guesses what this is?

The monsters were a bit better behaved today and we even managed to get some free time from them when the wee girl from down the road called and invited them to hers to play.
Squirrel arrived back first - in tears. She was upset at being told she was 'the baby'. Explaining that she was the baby of the group due to being two years younger didn't help. A chocolate cookie did the trick though.

SWMBO had a doctor's appointment this afternoon.
It turns out she has a chest infection - not good for her recovery from heart surgery.
The Doc was also telling her to get in touch with the Consultant who did the surgery for a follow up.
