Autumn Cherry

I hate working Saturdays! Especially when it's going to be the only nice day there's been all week and tomorrow they say it will be raining!

So my offering today is a shot of the little leaves on the little cherry tree outside our neighbours door. Before this they had a Bay tree, but it died. They couldn't understand why. When they brought the cherry tree they dug up the Bay tree and I happened to be there ... They'd planted it complete with the pot that it had been in at the garden centre. Poor tree never stood a chance!

When the cherry tree blossoms died, our neighbour was worried it too was dying, but Sav explained that blossom's not like flowers in your garden, but like flowers on for example apple trees.

" Am I going to get apples on this tree then? " She still feels a proper plonker for saying that and knows she has done nothing for the image of blonde women!!
