The rough with the smooth

Back to work for hpx today and it was good. 5 days off must have done something as I didn't fall asleep on the bus on the way home.

I didn't speak with Dad today. He has deteriorated over the past 24 hours and has slept much of today. Tomorrow he will be admitted to the hospice.

Now we wait with Dad either in person or at a distance.
