Holiday Hound

Jasper has gone on his holidays this morning. He's going to Wales for a week.

We are not going with him because he's going with the lovely Jackie (his dog sitter), her family and their dog, Hannah.

It's half term now in Pickering which is really late. Our wedding anniversary falls on Halloween so we booked a long weekend in Venice not realising we had a half term clash.

So, what to do with Jasper? Send him to Wales with the Knowles for a week. Luckily they are delighted he's going.

We are now starting to experience life at home without a dog and it's weird. No walks to do, no fur to stroke, no mischief to reprimand and no cuddles on the sofa. We've left Jasper before but it's usually us that goes on holiday so it's going to be a strange few days.

But we're also taking advantage of being dog less and had breakfast this morning eating inside the cafe rather than shivering outside and going to the cinema tomorrow night :-)
