Koh Samet island. For the day

I cycled 8 miles each way to the port, about 5 miles around the island. My arse was so sore as I didn’t bring my padded seat or britches on this holiday. And, the seat wasn’t high enough.
Anyway, nice gentle ferry crossing, what made me laugh was all the Thai people putting on life jackets!! They don’t wear cycle helmets which is a lot riskier!
The island us busy, expensive and not to my taste, but I’ve been now, so don’t have to do that again.

The beaches were nice, but crowded, I waited fir the 3 boatloads of Chinese tourists to leave before snapping the beach.
