Venice

A fab day for blipping. All you have to do in Venice is point the camera and click. Mrs P and i walked for miles, getting lost and stumbling across photo opportunities at will. Far too many photos, far too many visitors in the earky morning as well (no wonder it's sinking!). One wonders whether in years to come they might have to limit the number of tourists but you did get a better sense of the city once the crowds dispersed and it felt the city could breathe once again. (See my extra for the waiters who must be rushed off their feet).

All in all, we felt very lucky to see such a stunning city. We will be back (over 25 years since my first visit); hopefully sooner next time.
