Rainy day

The weather didn’t appear to be as bad as the forecast had suggested once we were up and had had our breakfast. So, we decided to head inland to Narberth to have a wander. There was a direct correlation between us passing the ‘Welcome to Narberth’ sign and torrential rain. It took us a few asks to find a Bailey-friendly cafe but we did before we were too sodden. Drinks and cake revived us enough to go and have a look in one or two shops but the weather did defeat us eventually and we headed back to St Davids.

The wood burner has been put to good use today. It definitely enhanced the afternoon book reading and the post-Bishops evening. Surfing was aborted today for the surfers but the forecast is looking more amenable tomorrow.
