Global Village.....

We've had another great day! Lots of things done, places visited, food eaten and it's ended LATE! 

Verna and I took the hotel shuttle bus to Dubai Mall for some specific shopping for her. Except she changed her mind and I came away with a spontaneous buy, with which I am very pleased. 

We met the others for a sizzler lunch which comes just as it says...sizzling. Very nice too.

Then off to Wafi and the beautiful Khan Murjan  souk where we tried on pashminas and scarves and admired silk rugs and perfumes before heading out to Global Village, a favourite venue for our friends. It was a perfect evening and there was so much to see and be thrilled about! I really enjoyed it! We even had a carousel ride, at Gk's request! This is my best photo of the evening... As if all that wasn't enough for one day, we went back to GK and G's flat and watched Mad Money ..a great movie! One to definitely watch again. GK ordered an uber taxi which got us back to our hotel at around 2.45 am. 

Last day tomorrow......Surely not?!
