This is where King Nikola of Montenegro slept in his royal palace, complete with polar bear rug for those cold mornings. He ruled until 1918.
Judging by his pictures he was quite a character, complete with national dress, a pistol in his cummerbund and sword hanging from his belt...look him up on google if you want to see for yourself.
Mrs CB and I were mightily impressed by Montenegro. We docked at the head of a long fjord at an old but well preserved fortified town called Kotor, then headed for the hills up the steepest, most scary roads I have ever come accross, before arriving at the small town of Njegusi which used to be the capital city, hence the royal palace and bed room. Stunning wild scenery, just great.
