Pair of Bloomers

We headed down to Edinburgh for a couple days and a visit to the Zoo and a musical. En route we stopped for a fly-cup at the Glendoick Garden Centre.

It seems like we are heading away from pretty awful weather in the North-East. There were blizzards and fellow blippers (MSE) show how the snow is rearing its head early this year.

We had a great time at the zoo seeing the giant pandas and wandering about in lovely sunshine.

I decided to change my earlier blip of the chimp house and thought about blipping a close-up of a rhino, but with the weather being so bad I wanted to post a late autumn bloom from a tree in the garden centre.

The brilliant double flower heads stood out so boldly in the bright sunshine in spite of the cold air.
